'My name is Sean O’Hagan and I am an artist who
lives in East Kilbride, near Glasgow.
With support from the arts service at the hospice I make
paintings by mouth using acrylic inks, and digital drawings
using a computer. These drawings have been made into
two animations and have inspired poems I have written.
These books are a combination of the digital drawings
and some of the poetry I have written.
I have been attending different services at the hospice for a while,
including the Creative Arts Service and Young Adult Service.
I get a lot of support from the hospice in many ways.
The images in 'An Earthly Journey' are inspired by a variety of different environments and landscapes from around the world. These are imagined scenes working from memory and inspired by film and nature.
