🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Take home a little piece of Scotland, in the shape of a beautiful scarf specially made in The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice’s own tartan. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
Made from 100% pure new wool, the design is based on the 1840 Duke of Rothesay tartan, the Prince of Wales’s official tartan in Scotland, and features the hospice’s branded blue and white colours with yellow and green representing Glasgow City Council, who donated the land for the new hospice.
The white lines represent the Prince of Wales feathers, the grey is for the River Clyde, that is so closely associated with the hospice, and the red and yellow highlight the comfort, warmth and loving care for which Glasgow's Hospice is famous.
Made for the hospice by Ingles Buchan, a family-run business that can trace its roots back to the long tradition of weaving for which the Scottish Borders is internationally renowned, the scarves make fantastic gifts.
